Why Go: This DJ dance is open to seventh- and eighth-grade students from all area schools. Refreshments will be available. Please have your school ID with you, or a parent must sign you in at the door.

Where/When: Upper Moreland Library, 109 Park Ave., Willow Grove; Sept. 29, 6:30 to 8 p.m.
Why Go: This workshop will focus on the application process, including creating a resume and cover letter, and submitting job applications online. Registration is requested by calling 215-659-0741.

Why Go: Homemade breakfast includes pancakes, made-to-order eggs (including omelets) and sausage.

Where/When: The Stoogeum, 904 Sheble Lane, Ambler; Oct. 1, 10 a.m. to 3 p.m.
Why Go: The word’s only museum of Three Stooges memorabilia, doesn’t have regular operating hours but has an open house about once a month, to give you a chance to see the museum’s almost 100,000 pieces.

Where/When: Masons Mill Park, 3500 Masons Mill Road, Huntingdon Valley; Oct. 1, starting at 9 a.m.
Why Go: Double-elimination Wiffle Ball Tournament, ghost runner/hit-line format (no running the bases). Teams of three to five players, all ages and genders welcome. Cash prizes. Registration required.
