Recent Arrests in Upper Moreland Township
The following information was supplied by the Upper Moreland Police Department.
New arrests Posted 12/10/2012:
- Denise Henry of Willow Grove was arrested for assault and related charges on 12/8/2012.
- Alex Cody Demko of Chalfont was charged with DUI Controlled Substances on
December 6, 2012.
- Anthony Gomez of Philadelphia was arrested for stalking and related charges. on Dec. 6, 2012
- Kevina Elizabeth Young of Philadelphia was charged with Retail Theft on December 4, 2012.
- Ashley Lashawna Jones of Philadelphia was charged with Retail Theft on December 3, 2012.
- Richard Rivers of Philadelphia was arrested for retail theft on Dec. 3, 2012.
- Robert Stumpp of Horsham was arrested for driving under the influence of alcohol and related charges on Oct. 28, 2012.
- Andrew Roberts of Richboro was arrested for retail theft and drug possession on Oct. 17, 2012.

I wish the scumbag thieves from philly would stay out of willow grove! They come in by train and take whatever isn't tied down (and in some cases use blowtorches to take what they want- catalytic converters from people parked at the train station).

Marcy, Did this happen to you or a friend? What was the response from SEPTA and the UMPD? Is there a sense from our commuters that the parking areas around the train station are not safe from thieves?... I've always thought the high retail theft reports in UM come from the Walmart. Patch, please follow-up on Marcy's comment! Do we have an issue here?

Patch, please follow up on Susan's comment also!Seems she's profiling theives from philly - assuming they are beneath malls and retail stores and can only pull off their crimes at Walmart! I think that's an issue, too!

Jenna -- not sure if you're using the word "profiling" directed to me or to Marcy, but I'm not doing that at all. Just commenting on where all these "retail thefts" might be occuring, apparently carried out by people who are listed by the UMPD as Philadelphia residents. I was unaware that we have a problem in our SEPTA parking area, and I'd like the PATCH to clarify Marcy's story.
