For many Upper Moreland residents, it's the cleanup that's the hardest part.

Had less downed branches than I do in a regular thunderstorm - leaves and ting twigs everywhere, but that's all!! Surprisingly, our laundry room didnt flood either (despite alllllll of the rain!). Yet I flooded 3 times in last few wks of rain storms. Had something to do with the nature of the rain, I think.
Enjoyed being hunkered down inside with an excuse to do nothing but snuggle, pamper ourselves, pig out on good food and munchies, and get some family quality time in!!!

Did get sprayed by a little baby skunk who was forced to evacuate his flooded home under our deck. Unfortunately, he bumped into me and my dog, who were out under the carport watching the storm for a few. Poor dog got sprayed in the mouth! Yikes- it's sulfuric acid! Mouth was foaming. Drank some milk and all was good! Always a wildlife adventure in Upper Moreland!!! :)
