Rt. 611 Lane Restrictions for July 16-20

Single-lane restrictions along Easton Road are expected throughout the week.

The PA Turnpike has announced single-single lane traffic restrictions from July 16 - 20 along Route 611. Daytime Utility relocation and overnight bridge work is expected to impact travel where the PA Turnpike (I-276) crosses Easton Road.

STATE ROUTE 611 (EASTON Road):

  • Loftus Construction Co., the general contractor working on the Turnpike’s mainline bridge that crosses Rt. 611, will implement flagger controlled single-lane patterns Monday – Friday restricting traffic to one lane in either direction between the hours of 9 a.m. and 3 p.m. and 10 p.m. – 5 a.m.
  •  PECO, or their sub-contractor, will continue daytime utility relocation work reducing traffic to one-lane southbound on Rt. 611. The work is scheduled to occur Monday – Friday and be performed during the utility company’s permitted hours of operation between 9 a.m. – 3 p.m.

The overhead bridge and utility work zone is located between Maryland and Wyandotte Roads, approximately 500 feet south of the on/off ramps to the Willow Grove Interchange. Motorists are urged to obey posted speed limits and use extra caution when approaching all work areas.
