Traffic Restrictions on Easton Road to Last Until End of Month

Daytime construction work to periodically impact travel where the PA Turnpike (I-276) crosses Easton Road.

Loftus Construction Co., the general contractor working on the Turnpike's mainline bridge that crosses Rt. 611, will continue to periodically reduce traffic to a single-lane in either direction Monday-Friday between the hours of 9am-3pm until the end of the month.

The Pennsylvania Turnpike Commission advises that Easton Road (State Route 611) will be closed to traffic and detoured in both directions between Fitzwatertown Road and West Mill Road in Upper Moreland Township Saturday, November 3rd from 11:00pm until 5:00am Sunday, November 4th.  The detour is required to allow Loftus Construction to safely erect bridge beams on the Turnpike mainline bridge located approximately one-half mile south of the rams to the Willow Grove Interchange.  Additional information will follow next week.
