According to an Upper Moreland School District release, the district is sponsoring a Barnes & Noble fundraiser for literacy. The purpose of this event is to support summer reading and literacy. The proceeds will be used to purchase literacy resources for all schools.
The fundraising event will started June 11 and ends June 18 at the Willow Grove Barnes & Noble. Online purchases will also be included in the fundraising efforts from June 19-23.
The Upper Moreland Township School District can receive up to 25 percent of the profits from items sold in the store. For every eligible item that is purchased online at Barnes & Noble on behalf of the school district, Barnes & Noble will contribute 12 percent of the purchase price to the schools.
