Weekend Shore Forecast
If you're trying to reach the beach this weekend, the weather is on your side.
The upcoming weekend promises much more tolerable temperatures than in recent days — especially if you're heading to the Jersey or Delaware coasts. The only fly in the ointment might be some early clouds, or a lingering shower early Saturday morning as a cool front lies nearby. However, that front will slowly slide southeast through the course of the day and sunshine will take control for the rest of the weekend.
Sunday looks mainly sunny although some clouds will move in toward sunset as the next storm system arrives overnight Sunday into Monday.
Highs this weekend look great — lower 80s for the Jersey Shore and mid 80s for the Delaware beaches. A sea breeze is possible on Sunday afternoon at the Jersey shore and will knock temperatures back into the 70s during the afternoon hours. Outside of that, wind should not be much of a factor and the weather should be quite nice.
