 iss our featured fine artist\, photographer David Austria: born and rais
 ed in the Greater Philadelphia region.  His  introduction to a DSLR star
 ted in his college years where he simply  wanted to document his sneaker
  collection.  From there\, his interest in  his camera bloomed tenfold. 
  He began to take photo classes at Villanova  and the University of the 
 Arts and  started experimenting mainly with different intricate lighting
   techniques.  Austria observed how lighting completely transforms the  
 results of a photo.  Ditching his shoes\, he reached out to more animate
   subjects&hellip\; his college friends.  The portraiture&rsquo\;s outco
 me peaked his  interest even more\, so Austria began his search for diff
 erent events\,  stylists\, clothing and basically anything within the ph
 otography  industry&rsquo\;s spectrum for work.  Building both his clien
 tele and  portfolio\, Austria honed his skills yielding the development 
 of  particularly natural feel within his photographs.  His current focus
 /his  current photographic endeavor is shooting editorial-styled portrai
