DESCRIPTION:Kalin Konrad has been sponsoring her Backyard Carnival for Al
 zheimer's since she was in the 5th grade.&nbsp\; Kalin's grandmother had
  Early Onset Alzheimer's disease and was diagnosed at the age of 58.&nbs
 p\;\nThis year will be her 7th and final Backyard Carnival before starti
 ng her senior year at the Upper Moreland High School&nbsp\;and preparing
  for college next year.&nbsp\;\nKalin has&nbsp\;been a voice to increase
  awareness of this devastating disease and educating her peers and young
  ones who have lost someone or have a loved one suffering with Alzheimer
 's disease.&nbsp\;\nKalin and her family and friends organize this commu
 nity event each year with carnival games\, raffle baskets\, refreshments
  and activities for children.&nbsp\;
