Murt Hosts Constituent Service Day, Friends and Neighbors Meet

See what's happening in Upper Moreland on Wednesday.

The First Presbyterian Church, Easton and Barrett roads in Willow Grove, will hold an informal friends and neighbors gathering on Wednesday at 1 p.m. The event features conversation, snacks and bingo.

State Rep. Tom Murt (R-152) of Upper Moreland, will host a constituent service day along with staff members from U.S. Sen. Pat Toomey's office on Wednesday. The event will be held at Murt's district office, 19 S. York Road in Hatboro, from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. Click here for more information.

Chik-fil-A, 160 Easton Road in Warrington, is donating 10 percent of its sales on Wednesday (from 5 p.m. to 8 p.m.) to four organizations. Customers will have the choice of 10 percent of their total bill going to either The Alzheimer's Association; Conquer Chiari; Crohn and Colitis Foundation of America; or Susan G. Komen Breast Cancer three-day walk. 

During the donation period Wednesday evening, Chik-fil-A customers simply place their receipts in their chosen organization's box. The organization with the highest sales receipts will receive an additional 10 percent. 

Eastern Center for Arts and Technology, 3075 Terwood Road in Willow Grove, will host a parents' night out program Wednesday at 7 p.m. 

The Upper Moreland Free Public Library, 109 Park Ave., in Willow Grove, will offer its babies and books storytime Wednesday at 10 a.m. and a computer basics program from 2:30 p.m. to 4 p.m.
