Volunteers Needed for Income Tax Assistance Program

Volunteers are needed in the CADCOM's Willow Grove Site of the Volunteer Income Tax Assistance Program (VITA).  VITA helps low to moderate income clients with free tax return preparation services.  No previous math or accounting experience is necessary.  Volunteers receive free IRS training.  The volunteer roles include Greeter, Tax Preparer, Quality Reviewer and Site Coordinator.  The Willow Grove Site is opened Tuesday and Thursday from 4:30 pm to 7:30 pm and Saturday from 9 am to noon.    Volunteers are asked to commit to one three-hour shift per week from the beginning of February through the middle of April.  For more information please contact Marian Demcisak at 215-672-1458 or mariand3@gmail.com.
