Bear Spotted Near Philly/Montco Border
A conservation officer is searching the area for the bear.
A bear was spotted Tuesday near the border of Montgomery County and Philadelphia, and a photo of it was taken by a man out delivering hoagies.
The bear was seen by several people near the intersection of Pine Road and Shady Lane in Abington, NBC10 said.
“I just took the photo to show my boys that I ran into a bear today,” Foose Pahiraj told NBC. “It looked cute. It looked nice. It didn’t look mean.”
A conservation officer is searching the area for the bear, NBC said.
