Why Go: The fair has come to town, in honor of Willow Grove’s Tri-Centennial celebration! Pay one price for unlimited rides. 6-11 p.m., Thursday and Friday, and 3 to 11 p.m., on Saturday.

Why Go: Free family fun for all ages. The Agape Gang will present an entertaining and fun night of puppetry. RSVP to 215-659-4505.

Upper Moreland Middle School, 4000 Orangemans Road, Upper Moreland; May 5, 7:30 p.m.

Why Go: Middle school students will present the Spring Instrumental Concert for family, friends and community members.

Where/When: Upper Moreland Intermediate School, 3990 Orangemans Road, Upper Moreland’ May 9, 8 p.m.

Why Go: UMTSD home and school associations invite you to meet candidates for school director. This will be your chance to learn about the people who want your vote to serve on school board.

Where/When: Upper Moreland Public Library, 109 Park Ave., Willow Grove; May 5, from 2:30 to 4 p.m.

Why Go: Life on the Mississippi, by Mark Twain: Offers a history of the river, describes Twain’s experiences as a riverboat pilot, and shares tall tales, character sketches and observations about the Mississippi.
