Why go: Meet author D. L. Wilson, and get a copy of his newest, action-packed thriller Sirocco, a suspenseful novel about bioterrorism.

Why go: Upper Moreland Parks and Recreation Department sponsors the annual Summer Concert Series, featuring the RockaFillys, with three-part female harmonies of a bygone era, who’ll chase those blues with swing and soul from the 40s and beyond.

Why go: The historical commission promotes, protects and facilitates the preservation of buildings, sites, objects and anything of historical significance in the township. Come to a meeting to learn more and get involved.
