SEPTA workers are set to strike at midnight after the union failed to show up for talks Friday.

Contract negotiations were set to continue Friday morning, The Philadelphia Inquirer reported, but representatives from Transport Workers Union Local 234 didn’t show up.

That means that 4,700 SEPTA employees will go on strike at 12:01 a.m. Saturday.

Union representatives declined to comment to the Inquirer.

The strike will affect SEPTA bus, subway and trolley service. Regional Rail will not be impacted, Philadelphia Magazine said.
