Supervised Playground Program Signups Coming in April

Upper Moreland Parks and Rec committee has announced registration will start on Monday, April 8 at the Township Building.

Upper Moreland has announced that registration for the township’s Supervised Playground program will begin on April 8.

The Supervised Playground program offers a wide variety of activities, sports, games, swimming, movies, special events and trips for kids in grades 1 through 8. If parents wish, they can also register their kids for regional trips such as asusement parks for an added fee.

“Our goal is to provide supervised summer playgrounds that are moderately structured, safe, and enjoyable for all,” Upper Moreland Parks and Rec representative Gail Rosen said.

Registration is open on the second Monday in April starting at 8:30 a.m. in the Township Building.

Registration for Upper Moreland Township’s Supervised Playground Program will begin on Monday, April 8 at 8:30am at the Township Building located at 117 Park Avenue, Willow Grove.

Supervised Playground Programs are held Monday-Friday, 8:30AM-4:30PM, from June 24 - August 16 (8 week or 4 week sessions are available). Fees are based on which camp option you select. Before care and after care is also available for an additional fee.  An early bird discount is given if campers are registered and paid in full by May 10, 2013.

The program is held at three locations:

  • Upper Moreland Primary School (entering grades 1 & 3)
  • Upper Moreland Intermediate School (entering grades 4 & 5)
  • Upper Moreland Middle School (entering grades 6 through 8)

This program is open to Upper Moreland Residents only and proof of parental residency is required at time of registration.
