Feast on appetizers and desserts prepared by Eastern's culinary arts students. Bid on sporting tickets memorabilia and getaways. Piece together a murder mystery.
Attendees can do all of these things during the Eastern Center for Arts and Technology Foundation's sixth annual fundraiser on Nov. 8.
This year's fundraiser will feature the murder mystery, "Greased," performed by professional actors from Without a Cue Productions.
Join the gang at Rydem High for a rollicking good time as they laugh, love and Bunny Hop while trying to avoid a killer intent on greasing Denny, Candy and the others who've gathered at the local malt shop. And when an ominous death threat arrives from a notorious hot rodder, past secrets emerge and the malt shop soon becomes a morgue...until that next Rock 'N' Roll record spins.
The evening begins with a variety of appetizers and desserts prepared and served by Eastern’s culinary arts students, followed by silent auction bidding.
During intermission, guests can hunt for clues among the silent auction items as to who is the murderer while continuing to bid and snack. At the end of Act 2, all silent auction items will be ready for pick up.
Items for auction include bed and breakfast and shore getaways, sporting event tickets, autographed memorabilia, salon and restaurant gift certificates, and services performed by Eastern's career and technical programs, such as car detailing and Thanksgiving dinners for pick-up.
