The Bandshell at Elmwood Park will play host to a unique concert on Saturday as the Montgomery County Office of Children and Youth seek to raise awareness about foster care and adoption.

The concert, which is slated for 1 p.m. to 6 p.m., will be held at the park's bandshell, which is located on Sterigere Street and Harding Boulevard in Norristown.

Also sponsored by Sam Ash in King of Prussia, the concert will feature performances by Vibratek, The Mighty Manatees, the Allen Reynolds Band, Christian O'Connor, as well as a visit from local comedian Jim Thomas.

In addition to the entertainment, the event aims to raise awareness about foster care and adoption, as well as seek out those who may be interested in such opportunities.

The event is free and open to the public. For more information, contact Pamela Martin at 610-278-5829.
