Hatboro Chamber Presents HatOberFest

HATBORO, PA– Fall family fun is in the air as The Greater Hatboro Chamber of Commerce presents its 2012 HatOberFest celebration which includes the Hatboro Fall Carnival, Halloween Stroll, and Hatboro food pantries collection during the month of October.


From October 2nd through the 6th, the Hatboro Carnival will be held in Miller Meadow, at York and Horsham Roads. The carnival will feature thrill rides geared to all ages, games with great prizes, everyone's favorite festival foods including burgers, hot dogs, pizza, sausage sandwiches, funnel cakes and cotton candy, as well as live entertainment on Friday and Saturday. The Hatboro Rotary will sponsor pumpkin painting for kids on Saturday from 2 p.m. until 8 p.m.


Discounts for all rides will be offered on Wristband Nights on Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday evenings from 6 p.m. until 10 p.m., as well as on Saturday from 2 p.m. until 6 p.m. $5.00-off coupons will also be available and honored during Wristband hours from participating Hatboro businesses, and are valid up to a family of four per coupon.

In addition to the carnival, the Greater Hatboro Chamber will be collecting non-perishable food for the Hatboro food pantries at Lehman Methodist Church and St. John's Lutheran Church in Hatboro. Food donation drop off locations can be found on the chamber website at www.hatborochamber.org.


The HatOberFest celebration will continue from 2 p.m. through 4 p.m. on Saturday, October 27th, along Summit Avenue to Horsham Road, with the Hatboro Halloween Stroll. Children are encouraged to dress in costume for "trick or treating" at participating Hatboro businesses. Look for the orange "Trick or Treat"  signs along this route.

The Greater Hatboro Chamber of Commerce located in the Red Barn Mall at 120 S. York Road, Suite 6, hosts special and annual events to support area businesses, both large and small, including the Halloween Stroll, Holiday Parade and Moonlight Memories Car Show. The car show is now in its 20th year, and drew more than 50,000 visitors to Hatboro this past July.
