Upper Moreland Classes Resume Sept. 3

The Upper Moreland Township School District will start after Labor Day this year, according to the district’s official calendar.

The school year gets underway on Sept. 3. In addition to starting partway through the week because of the holiday, schools are closed on Sept 5 for a student and teacher holiday. 

Back to school form drop offs and teacher assignments for Upper Moreland Primary School will be available on Aug. 21 and Aug. 22 from 9 a.m. to noon; Aug. 26 and Aug. 29 from 9 a.m. to noon; and Aug. 28 from 3 p.m. to 5 p.m. in the school's main office.

Teacher assignment letters will be sent home for Upper Moreland Intermediate School students the week of Aug. 26. All calendars, emergency cards, absence note forms, etc. will be sent home with students on the first day of school.

Orientation for Upper Moreland High School freshman will be held on Aug. 28 at 4 p.m.
