5 Cars on the Cheap

This week, we scanned cars.com for the cheapest cars for sale near Upper Moreland that yet have life in them and redeeming value. Here's what we found:

1. 1999 Subaru Legacy Outback AWD - $2,300

The ad says this Maroon Outback is a “goodrunner.” It 4WD and is a wagon, which makes it versatile and practical. It has 132,000 miles on it, and is available at P+H Motors in Hatboro.

2. 1998 Chevrolet Cavalier LS - $2,995

The Cavalier is a very popular, affordable American car. This one is a Green, FWD, sedan. The ad states it’s, “Great gas mileage & priced to sell.” It has 112,403 miles and is available at Excel Motors Sales & Service in Langhorne.

3. 1998 Acura TL 3.2- $3,899

This is a Gold Metallic, FWD, sedan, with a sunroof and V6 engine. According to the ad, it’s never been in an accident, and has 115,000 miles. It’s available at Affordable Cars in Huntingdon Valley.

4. 2000 Dodge Dakota  - $4,295

This is a black, 2 door , RWD, pickup, with a V6. It needs a paint job, but otherwise it “runs great” the dealer says. It has 81,352 miles and it’s available at Car-Nu Sales, Warminster.

5. 2001 Ford Explorer Sport Base - $4,490

Here’s a Red, 2 door , 4WD, SUV. The Explorer was Ford’s work horse, and this one has 103,941 miles on it. It’s available at Breithaupt Auto Sales in Hatboro.
