New Manhattan Bagel Opens in Willow Grove

A new Manhattan Bagel store opened today, and gave away one free breakfast sandwiches a week for a year to the first 100 customers.

Franchisee Alex Patel today announced his new Manhattan Bagel location in Willow Grove will open Tuesday, July 3. The new store, equipped with a drive thru for customers’ convenience, is located at 2700 Easton Road, on the border of Hatboro and directly on Route 611. To celebrate, Manhattan Bagel will present the first 100 people in line with coupons valid for one Free Breakfast Sandwich a week for a year. The new restaurant will open to the public starting at 5:00 a.m. that day.

“I can’t think of a better way to showcase the freshness and quality of our breakfast sandwiches to the local community,” commented Patel, owner of the new Manhattan Bagel in Willow Grove. “I am excited to offer a restaurant that will impress both new and longtime Manhattan Bagel fans with fresh menu options and a vibrant dining atmosphere.”

To receive the coupons, the first 100 people in line must be at least 18 years old and have a valid photo ID. Those who qualify will be awarded a coupon book good for one Breakfast Sandwich per week for a year, equating to 52 sandwiches. Coupons are valid for a year, and can be redeemed only at the 2700 Easton Road restaurant. See store for details.

Patel has been a Manhattan Bagel franchisee for three years and operates two other locations in Hatboro and Fairless Hills, PA.

“A few years ago I opened my first Manhattan Bagel location and have been a proud operator in several local communities, offering residents the best in quality bagels that are baked fresh in-store daily, delicious breakfast sandwiches and savory coffee,” added Patel. “I believe this concept is a great match for the Willow Grove market and I’m pleased to open the doors of our newest location on Tuesday.”

Recently, Manhattan Bagel has been satisfying franchisees’ desire to invest in a quick-casual restaurant concept capable of meeting consumer demand for quality, freshness, and value. In addition to Willow Grove, several franchise locations have opened in the past 18 months in Warrington, Pennsylvania and Old Bridge, Morris Plains and Summit, New Jersey.

“We are focused on growing the Manhattan brand through strong franchise partnerships such as this one and we continue to seek additional partners to expand the brand in attractive markets,” said Jeff O’Neill, chief executive officer of Einstein Noah Restaurant Group (NASDAQ: BAGL).

Available for take-out, dine-in and catering, Manhattan Bagel’s innovative menu features 15 flavors of bagels, nine flavors of cream cheese, hand-crafted breakfast and lunch sandwiches, salads and premium artisan-roasted coffees served all day long. For breakfast, Manhattan Bagel’s menu includes fresh made boiled-and-baked NY-style bagels, and delicious egg sandwiches. Lunch at Manhattan Bagel features an array of classic deli sandwiches hand-crafted to order, and fresh salads.
