Local Kids to Help Bring Joy to Sandy Hook Students

Students of all ages will make snowflakes that will be given to Sandy Hook Elementary.

Residents of Wesley Enhanced Living Upper Moreland, along with kindergarteners from Children of America Childcare Center of Warminster and students of all ages from the surrounding community, will all come together on Thursday, December 27 at 2 p.m. to make snowflakes of all shapes and sizes.

The Huntingdon Valley Starbucks, 2096 County Line Road, is also participating and has a station set up by the front door to collect hand-make snowflakes. The coffee shop has paper, crayons and markers set up for anyone who wishes to make snowflakes.

The snowflakes will adorn the new school building for the students of Sandy Hook Elementary School, converting it into a winter wonderland.
