FREE ORGAN RECITAL

Rodney Long, Music Director at First Presbyterian Church, will present an organ

recital on Sunday, May 18
at 4 pm. The program has been planned to

appeal to a variety of musical tastes, including works by Morricone, Albinoni, Langlais, and Bach.

In addition to earlier performances at First Presbyterian, Mr.

Long has given recitals at Abington Presbyterian Church, Trinity Episcopal

Church, Copley Square, Boston MA, and at the National Cathedral in Washington, DC. A native of Charlottesville, Virginia,

he began his study of the organ and performing for church services at the age

of fifteen.  He has studied at Westminster Choir College, Peabody Conservatory of Music, and the University of
Laverne, Kifissia, in Athens, Greece. 

The
recital will be given at the First Presbyterian Church, Willow Grove. Light

refreshments will be served following the program. There is no admission

charge, although there will be free will (voluntary) offering to support the

church’s music program.

of Easton (Rte. 611) and Barrett Roads in Willow Grove, Across from the Wetzel
