Open Auditions at
The Village Players of Hatboro
For the Drama "Being of Sound Mind"
No Experience Needed!

Ever have a secret desire to be in the spotlight? Do you have a yearning to act in a play? Are you just itching to perform in front of a live audience? Do you think you have what it takes to be an actor? However, you didn't know how to go about it?

Well, now here is your chance. The Village Players of Hatboro will be holding open auditions for the drama, "Being of Sound Mind”, written by Brian J. Burton. The playhouse is a local, community, nonprofit organization dedicated to the performing arts for over 60 years. All work is voluntary. The show opens in January 2013.

The auditions are open to anyone. No experience is needed. In fact, first timers are encouraged to try out for the show. Many of our productions feature actors in their debut performances. All roles are non-paying roles.

The show will be directed by Jim Balcerek who directed last season’s “Fox in The Fairway.” If you are looking to get experience in other areas of theater: set construction, lights and sounds, props, make-up, etc., all volunteers are welcome. The best part is that no prior experience is needed! You'll get hands-on training.  Just give us a call or send an email.

The Village Players of Hatboro is located in residential Hatboro at 401 Jefferson Avenue. The theater is situated between Jacksonville and Warminster Roads near County Line Road.
