Penn State Alumni Association Montgomery County Freshmen Sendoff Picnic

Join us for a fun afternoon of food and games and meet other students attending Penn State in the fall.

You are invited to the annual Montgomery County Alumni Freshmen Sendoff Picnic.  GREAT NEWS!  We just obtained a sponsor for this year's picnic, so
admission is now FREE!!!  All we ask is that you bring a dessert to
share with the group.  Join us for this event on Sunday, August 4th from 11:30AM to 2:00PM (RAIN OR SHINE).  This year's picnic will be held at:

East Norriton Park

(Behind East Norriton Police Station.  Turn right just past the station and then make an immediate left.  Follow the road down towards the softball field.  The picnic pavilion is to the right of the field.)

This is a great opportunity to meet other incoming freshmen residing in Montgomery County and to interact with alumni and current students.  We encourage you and your families/friends to spend a fun day with good food and great people. There's plenty of room to setup games for some friendly competitions.  The Chapter will supply a few for friendly competition, but feel free to bring a picnic-friendly game along!

This year's picnic will be catered by Zachary's BBQ in Norristown, PA.  They will be cooking hamburgers, hot dogs, and veggie burgers and will provide a toppings bar and cole slaw.  The Chapter will be providing drinks and chips.

The deadline for online RSVPs will be July 28th at 11:59PM as we need to give Zachary's BBQ a final count.

Please note on the RSVP page if you are a vegetarian.  Also, make sure to include the name of everyone attending.

If you have questions on the picnic, please contact Andrea atcommunity@psumontco.com.  If you have questions or problems RSVPing, please contact Dan attreasurer@psumontco.com.
