Our workshop includes instruction, a completed class song and dinner, for only $20! From Rupert: “The class is offered to people who like to write lyrics but who don't play an instrument, for people who play an instrument but don't write lyrics, and for people who do both. We will consider how music can be added to words and how words can be added to music, so that they form a unity. We'll consider simple song structures, and different forms of songs - from groove based music to songs that tell a story - and see how the designated function of a song affects the way it is written. We will consider ways to market songs so as to get them heard. Lastly we will build a song together from the ground up. Bring your instrument if you have one!”
