Eastern Sets Fundraiser for Thursday

Hungry for some pizza?

You can grab a slice - or a whole pie - and benefit the Eastern Foundation. 

On Thursday, the Eastern Foundation will be holding a fundraiser happy hour at Jerzee's Sports Bar and Pizzeria, 2609 Mount Carmel Ave., in Glenside from 5 p.m. to 8 p.m. 

The Eastern Foundation will receive 15 percent of customers' total bills when patrons reference the Eastern Foundation fundraiser. 

Besides food, guests can enjoy raffle items, a 50/50 and live music performed by Peter Suanlarm and Greg Shields of the local cover band, Mojo and the Helper Monkeys, (www.helpermonkeymusic.com).

If you cannot make it during the happy hour, you can go for lunch or pick up takeout that entire day - just mention the Eastern Foundation. The goal of the Eastern Foundation is to raise money for awards and tools of the trade for Eastern Center for Arts and Technology students to help them in college or to prepare for the work force.
