The final public presentation and feedback session for the will take place May 9 in the .
There will be two sessions of the presentation, the first from 5 – 6:30 p.m. and the second from 7 – 8:30 p.m.
The presentation, will be the end result of months of Upper Moreland Revitalization Task Force and Michael Baker Jr. Corporation planning and their prior public meetings and feedback.
As previously , the last train station public meeting took place on Nov. 9. At that meeting, participants were presented with three options on whether or not the train station should be moved, either north or south of the station’s location along Davisville Road.
According to Baker planning consultant, Christine Caggiano at the Nov. 9 meeting, the May 9 meeting will be an unveiling of the cross section of residents’ feedback on the three proposals.
In a correspondence with Patch, Karen Houck, chairperson of the Task Force, said that residents and Willow Grove Train Station users are all invited to find out what the Task Force will recommend to the board of commissioners about the feasibility of moving the train station.
“The consultants of Michael Baker, Inc. will conduct the presentation, during which they will review and explain the scope of the study, and the conclusions that cane be drawn from it,” Houck said. “Please, join us, if you can, for this important informational session.”
