Women of Willow Grove to Give Donation to Needy Family

A representative from Tom Murt's staff will be on hand at Giant Supermarket today to accept the donation.

The Women of Willow Grove will award a gift card to a needy family at their first luncheon meeting on Tuesday, September 11. The award will be accepted by a staff member of State Representative Tom Murt, who will relay it to the family, to protect its privacy. The donation is part of WOW’s commitment to family and community.

At the meeting, life coach Sherry Shoemaker will provide listeners with tools to make choices with clarity and confidence, overcome obstacles and feel grounded in their lives and careers at the season kick-off meeting of the Women of Willow Grove. She will show participants ways to meet the goal of personal and business growth in a session on how to “Step Out of Your Comfort Zone”.. She will provide tips on how to expand horizons by getting rid of old patterns of behavior.

The luncheon meeting will be at the Giant Superfood Store, 315 York Road, Willow Grove. It will start at 11:30 and end by 1 p.m., with networking beginning at 11:15. Cost for the meeting and lunch is $20, with a $5 reduction for prepayment. Willow Grove Chamber of Commerce members receive an additional $3.00 discount.

Those attending should be sure to bring plenty of business cards to exchange with other participants.
