    Gray skies overhead

    Melting snow reveals

    Dirty Mounds and fog

    Parking lot's wet surface

    reveals human made garbage

    lying flat against the asphalt

    resembling dead hideous sea creatures

    Trees on the hill

    potted flowers in the Roslyn Giant's entrance

    once green and lively

    turn various shades of rust

   SEPTA trains in Roslyn Station

   wail dinosaur death cries.

   Above the Susquehanna road's skies,

   Clouds part for a moment

   allowing a rainbow to stretch

  across the sky's open dome

  reveal God's loving promise

  within its multi-colored arch

  that even in sad times,

  He comforts us.
