Single Lane Traffic for Route 611 throughout Week Expected
More Turnpike roadwork is announced, this time involving lane closures on Route 611 from June 18- 22.
The Pennsylvania Turnpke has announced the folowing:
- Single Lane Traffic Restrictions Scheduled on Rt. 611 in Upper Moreland Township
Utility work may periodically impact travel where the PA Turnpike (I-276) crosses Easton Road.
The contractor received a request from PECO Electric to schedule intermittent right lane closures southbound on Rt. 611 between the hours 9 a.m. and 3 p.m. Monday – Friday (June 18-22) for utility relocation work between Maryland and Wyandotte Roads.

The overhead bridge and work zone is located approximately one-half mile south of the on/off ramps to the
Willow Grove Interchange.
Motorists are advised to use alternative routes or allow extra time for travel through the area as delays may occasionally occur. All work is subject to change depending on the weather and the contractor’s accessibility and/or productivity.
