Local swim team raises funds for The Breathing Room!

On Tuesday, July 23, members of the Nor Gwyn Swim Team, and visiting Fanny
Chapman Swim Team participated in a breast cancer charity fundraising event
called Swim for the Girls.  The event was created and organized by Nor Gwyn
Swimmers Will (11), Luke(10), Cortney(7) Neverosky and Luke(10) and Lance(8)
Engel.  For the breaststroke events that evening, boys wore girls suits for
each race.  Girls were able to participate by donating a swim suit for a boy
to wear.  Boys and girls from both teams collected pledges prior to the
event and donations were taken during the meet.  Swim for the Girls was a
great success as over $2,100 was raised.  All proceeds were donated to the
Breathing Room Foundation!
