'CSI' Students Get Inside Look at Firefighting

Eastern students sharpened their "Crime Scene Investigation" skills recently with the local fire department.

Students in Eastern Center for Arts and Technology's “Crime Scene Investigation” summer fun program toured an Upper Moreland Township Fire Department truck. 

The summer fun Crime Scene Investigation program gives students a fun and hands-on look into the world of law enforcement and fire science. In this course, students learn how to lift fingerprints, wear firefighting equipment, learn some self defense techniques and hear from true professionals in the fields.

For high school juniors and seniors in Eastern Montgomery County, Eastern offers a Protective Services program that prepares students to enter a career related to law enforcement, fire science, industrial safety and security and emergency radio dispatch.
