Dairy Queen Owner Shoots at Alleged Armed Robber: Report

The owner of a Dairy Queen in Upper Moreland allegedly fired shots at a would-be armed robber Tuesday night.

According to an NBC Philadelphia story, an armed robber entered the Dairy Queen in the 1900 block of East County Line Road at about 8:30 p.m. Before the robber could steal any money, the owner of the business opened fire, the story continued.

None of the employees was injured; it’s unknown whether the alleged robber was injured.

According to the story, the alleged robber fled in a silver Mazda sedan with a “busted taillight” toward Interstate 95.
