Electrical Fire causes Road Closure
An electrical transformer on Mill Road caught fire and will need to be replaced.
Upper Moreland Police reported that a 30K watt electrical transformer caught fire on a pole located on W. Mill Road between S.York Road and Orchard Way, sometime today.
The entire pole needs to be replaced and the road must remain closed until the replacement operation is completed.
There are some power outages in the area due to the transformer fire.
