Thefts

  • On May 9, at 3:42 a.m., while officer was on patrol, he noticed a vehicle on the 200 block of Lawnton Rd had been entered. A tool box with tools valued at $50.00 was taken from the unlocked vehicle.
  • On May 9, at 11:40 p.m., a resident from the 500 block of Stewart Road reported that someone attempted to gain entry to her locked vehicle. Resident observed several dents/pry marks on the passenger side door. Nothing was taken.
  • On May 9, sometime overnight, police responded to 1810 County Line Road, Grapevine Visual Concepts for a theft report. It was discovered sometime overnight, someone removed two catalytic converters from one of their vehicles. The value of the convertors was estimated to be worth $1000.00
  • On May 10, sometime overnight, police responded to the American Legion, 2305 Computer Ave. for a theft report. Officers spoke to manager who stated that approximately $1457.00 was taken from a secured closet inside the legion. The door lock had been broken on the closet to gain entry.
  • From May 10 to 11, a 1999 Blue BMW Z3 was stolen from the 200 block of Cameron Rd. The vehicle was locked and was in the driveway. The BMW was entered into NCIC.
  • On May 13, at 3:01 p.m., loss prevention from Wal-Mart contacted police after observing Tulish placed clothes and action figures into her pocketbook.  The total value of the merchandise was $86.47. Tulish was issued a citation and released.

Liquor Laws

  • On May 9, at 5:40 p.m., police received a call for an intoxicated male outside by building H at the Wellington Apartments, 2529 Horsham Road. Police observed Singh to be highly intoxicated and had a half of bottle of whiskey in is possession. Singh’s BAC was a .40percent. Jasvinder Singh, 48, from the 2500 Block of Horsham Road in Hatboro, was cited for Public Drunkenness and treated at AMH.
  • On May 9, at 5:51 p.m., police responded to a fall victim near Winterport Arena, 551 York Road. Police located Sanders was located and was observed to be highly intoxicated. William Sanders, 47, from the 100 Block Sleighride Road, was transported to AMH for  possible cracked ribs. Sanders will be cited though the mail for Public Drunkenness.
  • On May 11, at 10:02 a.m., police observed Howard Henry McConnell, 59, from the 400 block of Jacksonville Road in Hatboro, staggering on York Rd. Officer spoke to McConnell was found to be intoxicated (.18 percent). McConnell was taken into custody and placed into the cell until he sobered up. McConnell was cited for Public Drunkenness.
  • On May 14, at 2:33 a.m., an officer conducted a traffic stop on Center Avenue. The passenger, Danielle Waltz, 19, from the 500 Block of Edgehill Road in Glenside, was found to be intoxicated and was cited for underage consumption.

  • On May 9, at 4:56 p.m., Matthew Owens, 39, from the 100 Block of Cameron Road in Willow Grove, was at Broughton Park, 107 Barrett Rd, with his 9 year old son. At some point Owens son got into an argument with another 9 year old child. Owen then encouraged his son to fight the other child using profanities. Owens was cited for Disorderly Conduct.

Drug Possession

  • On May 13, at 1:30 p.m., police responded to a domestic in progress at Easton and Barrett roads. While checking the area, officer observed a male run into an apartment at Willow Hill Apartments. Shawn Lenard, 40, with no fixed address, was stopped. A small bag of marijuana was located from Lenard’s pants pocket. Lenard was charged with Drug possession. In addition there was an active Montgomery County Bench Warrant on Lenard. Lenard was arraigned on the drug charges with bail set at $10,000/unsecured. Lenard was later released to the Sheriffs.
