DUI

  • On May 6, at 4:17 a.m., an officer on patrol observed a white Ford Expedition traveling on Center Avenue toward Moreland Road make a left turn at this intersection.  This intersection is posted that all traffic must turn right.  The officer also observed this vehicle drive over the center roadway divider on Moreland Road. Keenan Crommarty, 23, of the 6400 Block of N. Park Ave. in Philadelphia, was found to be intoxicated.  He was arrested and taken to the Upper Moreland Police Department for chemical testing which showed his BAC to be 0.189 percent .  Charges have been filed for DUI and related offenses.
  • On May 6, at 5:53 a.m., Keenan Crommarty was arrested by the Upper Moreland Police Department for the second time in under two hours in the early morning hours of May 6.  Commarty was released from police custody at 5:45 a.m. to a sober adult. A short time later, another officer who assisted in the first arrest observed Crommarty driving the white Ford Expedition away from where it was parked. The vehicle was stopped and Crommarty was found to still be intoxicated.   He was again arrested and transported to the Upper Moreland Police Department for a chemical breath test.  This breath test yielded a result of 0.167 percent BAC.  A second criminal complaint has been filed against Crommarty for DUI.
  •  On May 12, at 2:40 a.m., an officer on patrol observed a vehicle traveling southbound on Warminster Road. This vehicle crossed into the oncoming lane several times. The vehicle was stopped and Devon Schum, 21, of the unit Block of Harvest Road in Warminster, was identified as the driver.  She failed field sobriety tests and was arrested.  She was transported to the Upper Moreland Police Department for a chemical breath test.  This test yielded a result of 0.134 percent BAC.
  • On May 13, at 1:47 a.m., an officer observed Erin Mower, 24 of the 400 Block of Myrtle Ave. in Horsham, in her vehicle, fail to stop for the stop sign at Crown Street and Miriam Avenue in the Willow Grove section of the Township.  The officer stopped this vehicle and spoke with Mower. The officer found that Mower had been drinking.  She failed to perform the field sobriety test satisfactorily. She was arrested and transported to the Upper Moreland Police Department for a chemical breath test.  Mower’s BAC was found to be 0.105 percent. She has been charged with DUI and related offenses.
  • On May 14, at 1:04 a.m., an officer on patrol observed a vehicle make a left turn at the intersection of Bonnet Lane and York Road in the Hatboro section of the Township.  This intersection is posted “no left turns”.  The driver, Carlos Cabrera, was found to be intoxicated.  He was arrested and transported back to the Upper Moreland Police Station.  He submitted to a chemical breath test which yielded a result of 0.124 percent BAC.  Cabrera is charged with DUI and related offenses.
  • On May 15, at 3:16 a.m., a silver Cadillac Deville was observed traveling west on Moreland Road, during the hours of darkness without its headlights on.  This vehicle was also observed weaving across the center double yellow line.  The vehicle was stopped and the driver was found to be impaired.  She was arrested and transported to the Upper Moreland Police Department for a chemical breath test.  Vanessa Kovacs, 24, of the 3700 Block of Poppy Drive in Philadelphia, had BAC was found to be 0.125%   She is charged with DUI and related charges.
