String of Theft from Autos Due to Unlocked Doors Reported

Upper Moreland Police report several thefts from unlocked autos near Edgehill Road.

According to Upper Moreland Police chief , via the Nixle news feed, late Tuesday night or early Wednesday morning, unknown person(s) entered multiple Unlocked vehicles in your neighborhood.

Such a successful night of thievery often leads to a repeat performance.

"The police department is taking steps to detect and identify the offender(s) but we need your help. If you see anyone loitering around your neighbor’s property, call 911 immediately," Nestel said in the release.

Nestel said the greatest crime prevention method available is to remove belongings from your vehicle and lock your doors.
