UPDATE: Burn Victim in Stable Condition

An elderly woman suffered burns after a fire broke out at Willow Lake in Willow Grove.

A fire broke out Friday night at Willow Lake, a senior housing facility in Willow Grove, which resulted in one victim being airlifted to Temple University hospital.

Saturday morning the Upper Moreland Police Department confirmed that the 90-year-old woman is now in stable condition and can expect to return to Willow Lake later next week.

"She is in stable condition," police said. "We're anticipating her returning to the home next week. For the condition she was in and her age, this is really fantastic news."
