Upper Moreland Man Burglarizes Mom's Home

An Abington mother identified to police sold jewelry as her own, and suspected that her son had committed burglary.

According to a phillyburbs.com article, Tyrie Miller, 27, of the 2500 block of Maryland Road in Upper Moreland pleaded guilty to burglary charges in Abington and in East Norriton.

According to the news report, the Abington burglary took place between Sept. 7 and Sept. 16, in which Miller is reported, in the criminal complaint, to have forced open the lock on his mother’s bedroom door, and stole items from her jewelry chest.

The report continues to say that police then went to a local precious metals dealer, where Miller was found to have sold women’s jewelry, which Miller’s mother later identified as her own.
