Weird Crime: Missing Chainsaw, Golf Course Fight

That's Not What Maple Syrup is For:  A car parked in the 1900 block of Dartford Road was recently the target of a prankster, Hellertown Patch reported. According to police, maple syrup was poured on the vehicle and male genitalia were drawn on its rear hatch. Read the full story here.

Busy Week at the Italian Restaurant: Police had two calls from the same italian restaurant in the same week, according to a story from Newtown Patch: once for public urination, once for a noise disturbance. See if the two were related here. 

Anyone Missing a Chainsaw?: A chainsaw was found in the southbound lane of Route 191 Wednesday morning, according to a report from Nazareth Patch. See the full story here. 

Golf is a Dangerous Game: Whitemarsh Police arrested a Lafayette Hill man following an argument that turned physical near the sixth tee at the Whitemarsh Valley Country Club, according to a report from Plymouth-Whitemarsh Patch. Get the full story here.

And People Say My Spelling is Bad: Newtown Township Police and Marple Newtown School District administration are investigating the theft of letters taken from the Marple Newtown High School main entrance sign. The letters, M, N and C were discovered missing on Saturday morning by the high school staff, meaning the school's sign currently reads "Arple Ewtown High S Hool." Read the full story here.
