Willow Grove Woman Faces Charges Related to DUI Crash, Police Say

A Willow Grove woman suffered severe injuries after a motorcycle accident in which she had a high blood alcohol content, according to police.

A Willow Grove woman injured in a motorcycle crash earlier this month is facing charges stemming from allegedly driving under the influence of alcohol, according to police. 

Crystal Harris, of Willow Grove, suffered severe trauma to her left leg, but was conscious, alert and speaking with officers on July 3 at about 11:30 p.m. following a motorcycle crash at the 400 block of Virginia Drive in Upper Dublin, according to police.

Harris, who police said submitted to a preliminary breath test, had a BAC of .123 percent following the crash. As a result of her injuries, she was unable to move, police said. 

She was transported to Abington Memorial Hospital into the ER trauma center, where she also submitted to a chemical test of her blood.

Charges are pending lab results, police said.
