Advisory Committee Appointees Moved Forward for Final Approval

Several appointees will be considered for final approval at the next general meeting of the commissioners.

At the June 27 Finance and Administrative Committee meeting, candidates for several advisory board positions were moved forward for consideration of the full board of commissioners. The below yet-to-be-confirmed appointments each have a 2-year commitment, with the exception of the Zoning Hearing Board, which has a 5-year commitment:

  • Jonathan de Jonge to the Advisory Planning Agency
  • John Hertzel to the Advisory Planning Agency 
  • Nicholas Scull to the Advisory Planning Agency
  • William Seiberlich, Jr. to the Advisor Planning Agency
  • Linda Jones to the  Parks and Recreation Advisory Council 
  • Emily Graupner to the Zoning Hearing Board

The alternative position with the Police and Fire Civil Service Commission is yet to be determined with three appointees in the running.

There is currently a vacancy for a position with the Upper Moreland Historical Commission (to replace Dr. Murrell Dobbins). The position has a three-year commitment. Any interested applicants may contact UMHC chairman Dick Sayer. More information can be found by visiting the UMHC website.
