Appointments Confirmed at Regular Meeting

Appointments for Advisory Planning Agency, Parks and Rec, Police and Fire Civil Service and Zonging Hearing Board were made.

Several appointments were confirmed at the regular meeting of the board of commissioners, July 11.

  • Jonathan de Jonge – a Ward 3 reappointment to the Advisory Planning Agency for a two-year term, to expire on June 1, 2013.

 

  • Joseph Hetzel – a Ward 7 reappointment to the Advisory Planning Agency for a two-year term to expire on June 1, 2013.

  • Nicholas Scull – a Ward 1 reappointment to the Advisory Planning Agency for a two-year term to expire on June 1, 2013.

 

  • William C. Seiberlich, Jr. - a Ward 5 reappointment to the Advisory Planning Agency for a two-year term to expire on June 1, 2013.

  • Linda Jones – a Ward 1 appointment to the Parks and Recreation Advisory Council for a two-year term to expire on March 1, 2013.

 

  • William Oetinger – an appointment as an alternate member of the Police and Fire Civil Service Commission, t complete the term of Leonard Reice, whose term expires on Dec. 31, 2011.

 

  • Emily Graupner – an appointment to the Zoning Hearing Board to complete the term of Brett Ludwig, whose term expires on Dec. 31, 2011.

Community Development chair, commissioner Joseph Lavalle noted that Brett Ludwig cannot finish his term, as he is moving out of town. 

“We appreciate very much his time and effort that he spent for us on the zoning board,” Lavalle said.

Ward 6 Commissioner Valenza also notes that there is currently a  vacancy with the Zoning Hearing Board position, any interested parties should contact township manager David Dodies.
