EASTERN Alum Spotlight: Zachary Holler
Zachery Holler, an Abington graduate, was recognized for many accomplishments during his tenure at EASTERN.
Eastern Center for Arts and Technology (EASTERN) 2011 Collision Repair Technology/Abington High School graduate, Zachary Holler, completed the Collision Reconditioning Technology program at the Automotive Training Center in Warminster in October 2012, and is now a full-time Collision Repair Specialist at Southampton Collision.
While in tenth grade at Abington High School, Holler was very interested in cars. When one of his teachers suggested that he consider an EASTERN program for his junior and senior years, he was torn between the Automotive Technology and Collision Repair Technology programs. Ultimately, he chose Collision Repair Technology because it was a chance to work on cars, while incorporating another one of his interests – art, specifically painting.
During his tenure at EASTERN, Zach was recognized for many accomplishments. He received the Perfect Attendance Award at the 2010 Awards Night. As a senior, he received the Grainger Award at EASTERN’s 2011 Awards Night. During the 2010 – 2011 school year, Holler was the SkillsUSA Collision Repair Technology Class Treasurer. Due to his painting skills, he attended the 2011 SkillsUSA National Competition in Kansas City to participate in the Promotional Bulletin Board competition.
