Upper Moreland Middle School HSA Meeting

The UMMS Home and School Association will host an important meeting March 21 at 7:30 p.m., in the school library.

Dr. Milrod, superintendent of schools for Upper Moreland Township School District, will present the results of the 2009-2010 Pennsylvania Youth Survey. The survey, given every two years to sixth-, eighth- and 10th-grade students, provides information regarding alcohol, tobacco and drug use among students, information regarding risk behaviors and student bullying, and the perceptions students have about their community.

The presentation will last about 40 minutes, and there will be time for questions and answers afterwards.

This information is important to parents of Middle School students, because it may help students make healthy and safe choices in years to come.
