Leo Club Gives to Second Alarmers

Upper Moreland Middle School students in the Leo Club help SARS purchase life-saving pet oxygen masks.

Second Alarmers Rescue Squad (SARS) will be receiving the donation of lifesaving pet oxygen masks from the children of Upper Moreland Middle Schools Leo Club.

The masks will be the first of their kind for SARS and were 100 percent fundraised by the children. The masks were presented to SARS at Upper Moreland Middle School on Thursday, May 19, at 8:52 a.m. at the last all-school assembly of the year.

According to Jamie Haddon, executive director of SARS, the group of children have been fundraising all year to provide the lifesaving items.
