“Timelines are approximate,” Braun said. “They’re not science.”

Illinois-based scoreboard manufacturer Nevco was awarded the contract to build a new scoreboard for Upper Moreland High School. The nearly 80-year-old company’s scoreboard technology has advanced from the use of electric motors to solid state electronics; from incandescent bulb models to LED technology; and from hard wired control systems to wireless controls, according to its Web site.
