Behind the Assignment - By Alex Pinguli

Each student edited an old family image, scanned from original photos, by restoring its tone, contrast and infusing it with color using Adobe Photoshop CS5. In addition, students deleted blemishes, sharpened the image and in many cases reduced the amount of digital noise present.
